Saradise Gallery will be holding a launch of the solo art exhibition entitled ‘Voyage’ for artist Gerald Goh on Friday 22 June 2018 at 7pm. Gerald will share his artistic journey and there are pieces from which proceeds of sale of his artworks will be donated to various charities. Music will be provided by a local Chinese music association and we have also invited Mr Howard Deri, a young Sape player for the exhibition.
The exhibition will run from 18 June – 6 July 2018. Please feel free to drop by the Gallery at Level 1.
Coding is becoming an essential basic skill—just like reading, writing, and mathematics—for students to thrive in the 21st century digital age. Whether they are interested in science or arts, loves animals or sports, coding can help them pursue their interests now and open up countless opportunities in their future.
Physical computing involves building interactive physical systems with the use of software and hardware that can sense and respond to the world around us. Examples include interactive arts, sensor-based plantings, musical instruments, and DIY robots.
We use the programming language, mBlock (a variant of Scratch) to teach coding and the Arduino (a mini computer the size of a credit card) to introduce physical computing.
