TAN LEE LEE
During her early childhood years, Tan Lee Lee found it challenging to express herself through communication, it was not her best suit. However, at the age of 4, she found sanctuary in drawing. Drawing happened to be the only vessel she had to voice out her feelings and thoughts. For Tan, drawing was her language, a way of showing the world who she is. After 17 years of not touching a sketchpad, Tan finally picked up a pencil and started doing what she loved again. Till today, her passion for art continues to lead her to uncover parts of the world she never knew about. Her inspirations are drawn from local Kuching street scenery which she lovingly captured into her various, pencil-drawn sketches and watercolor paintings.
