Born in 1953, Ang Seng Bian has a knack for the art of Chinese Calligraphy and intensively trained himself since young. The beauty of the Chinese characters and the elegance of the script have always been Ang’s greatest inspiration and motivation. Appreciated for its aesthetics, each character must be written concisely, befitting the context, and pleasing to the eye. He is the president of Kuching Samarahan Chinese Calligraphy Society. He is active in participating in calligraphy art activities such as Singapore Cultural Festival, Malaysian Calligraphy Exhibition, and China-Malaysia Calligraphy Exhibition at Tianjin, China to name a few.
