DATIN CHANG CHOR SHAR
Chang Chor Shar is a fourth generation painter specializing in Chinese watercolor, oil, batik and acrylic painting. Her great grandfather Wu Ling is a famous and award winning painter in China during the Qin Dynasty. She learnt the Ling-Nan style Chinese painting in Kuching from the late Mr. Chin Kee, a renowned master, great teacher and mentor. She has explored many forms of contemporary arts that is unique to her own style. She is a life member of Sarawak Artists Society, life member of Society Atelier Sarawak and member of Persatuan Seni Tulis Malaysia. She has exhibited her artworks in many exhibitions throughout her career. Her paintings have been collected all over the world. She is well travelled and stayed in China and Australia for over twenty years. A keen gardener, Datin Chang plays traditional Chinese musical instruments such Guqin and Guzheng in her free time.
