GREG WEE
Greg Wee is an educator, researcher and practitioner in the various disciplines of arts. He does 3D abstract of which his paintings evoke a dynamic sense of movement, growth, bloom, expression and explosion of colours which bursts physically out of the canvas. He is also a visual content creator in a wide range of disciplines including art, illustrations, comics and animation. Most of his artworks are inspired by the interconnected nature of our existence. He is intrigued with how everything in nature is connected together – from the microscopic to the overarching universe, from the subconscious to the conscious, and also from the past to the present. His paintings have been exhibited in a few art exhibitions and some of them are in homes and in offices around Kuching. His cartoon illustrations and comics have been published locally. Greg’s most recent achievement includes the production of a 13-episode animated series Rahsia Anak Rimba for TVi (Astro Channel 180) in 2013, and his production of interactive museum displays for the Sarawak Museum’s Urang Sarawak exhibition.
